Inspired by traditional Asian ginger jars, this large lidded jar makes a striking decorative piece for a tabletop, mantel, or corner cabinet. It features John's classic Midwest Prairie Grass design, painted in the Japanese sumi-e brushwork style. The jar was fired in a gas reduction kiln and salt-glazed to cone 11–12 at approximately 2400°F.
