This handmade stoneware planter is well suited for medium-sized plants, shallow-rooted plants, and small trees. High-fired to cone 11–12 (approximately 2400°F), the dense, durable stoneware is less porous and more resistant to cold weather than traditional terracotta.
The planter features a combination of salt and ash glazes, traditional Japanese Hakame brushed-slip decoration, and a contrasting black-glazed rim.
Measuring 10" in diameter and 6" tall, it stands on four raised feet.
Care: If used outdoors in freezing temperatures, ensure the planter drains freely to prevent water from collecting and freezing.
